wel everyone is giving numbers lastly, so i tought i might hop in and give some numbers of my own just like a bingo number machine... so let me start calling them...

UNIVERSAL MUGEN

ok, follow me on this logical resoning for just a second everyone....

mugen is free, chars are free
mugen code is free, char code is free
(by mugen code i mean mugenlanguage programming, not the exe file sourcecode.)

now... you can argue it's not like that, BUT DON'T BOTHER, it is so, and elecbyte made sure it would be so when creating mugen.

now...
IT WOULD ONLY BE NATURAL IN A NOT FUCKED UP COMMUNITY, to maintain the code FREE FOR USE, just like kfm code is free for the use of everyone, every char's code should be made by the author himself FREE FOR THE GOOD OF EVERYONE.

every community will prosper much more, and many more will become pro programmers, if the community gives them more stuff they can see and understand from, and reuse (hopefully after understanding it).

the mugen communty should unanimously become opensource ON ALL THE LINE.
i do propose that so happens and would like a cupple of thousands of other creators allover the world to agree. OpenSource is the best way to go.


by now with all these parties and shit this seems much like an electoral campaign of some kind...
but like in politics, words don't matter, only facts:
has the community grown in the last year? well yes...
could it exponentially grow more with opensource? well no one knows because opensurce is looked down on by some dickheads... and not many people appreciate it's meaning.

will you allow us to find out?


I propose that all the creations created from and after 2008 become opensource unles otherwise specified by the author.
MIND EVERYONE, that open source does NOT mean to use without giving or reciving credit. quite contrearly, it is the path towards carelessness in getting credit; ergo you should not care less of wheteher credit was given to you, but you should always, without exception give credit to others.
now, every author that comes across this (excluding byakko and kfm please) leave here your impressions. Black Jack, your concerns and ideas would be most welcome B)
