I got myself a geforce mx4000 128mb video card and i installed it and mugen won't work. when i click on it ,it starts loading and boom encountered an error and it needs to close. so then i installed a fresh mugen to see what would happen and it tells me that it can't run in full screen 1024x786 32bits . so why is it not working ???

BTW i had a intel on board graphic card before i got the geforce one

(UPDATE) i ran the fresh copy of mugen at 960 x 600 and it worked so is there anyway for me to get it to run at 1024 x 768???

BTW my screen resolution is 1024 x 768.

First of all, what your mugen version? I see that you have the win one.
Well try to change these things in the file mugen.cfg if you have winmugen one
where it say [Video Win] change these things:

Width =640
Height =480
...
Depth = 32
...
Stretch = 1
...
DoubleRes = 4
...
DXmode = Hardware <- if the game still can't run change this with Windowed

else try

Width =800
Height =600
...
Depth = 32
...
Stretch = 0
...
DoubleRes = 4
...
DXmode = Windowed <- if the game still can't run change this with Hardware

else try

Width =1024
Height =768

Depth = 32
...
Stretch = 1

TRYED it all nothing work it just keeps on crashing saying that it has encountered a problem.


BTW when i do this >>> it tells me that it can't go to that resolution why???? HELP ME ME

I have 1024x768 and I use Mugen resolution at 320x240... and fullscreen works correctly (dxmode = Hardware)...

Let me know...

EDIT. Try my mugen.cfg

You find here as

mugen.cfg.txt

becouse the exstension .cfg is forbidden here.

So remember to rename it to mugen.cfg

Problema risolto Nobun, alla fine il ragazzo ha scoperto che era un char a non fargli funzionare niente, Black Magician Girl, la giovane maga neradi yu-gi-oh! che ne ho visto i file ed è fatta male e l'ho fixata, ora la posto qui.

alla fine consisteva nel cambiare i nomi dei file e nel file.def

in the end the problem was about files' names, that were wrong, with () ...
