Aiuto
During the selection screen after player one picks his/her character no other commands are able to be pressed. Whether that being player one or two. So there is nothing one can do but exit back to the tital screen.
It was like this since I first downloaded the game, but I figured it might have been a update or patch issue. Im not sure what is exactly wrong, and now would like to see it fixed. Is it still in the prosses of being worked out? Am I missing information about this? I have no idea after searching around.

Winmugen won't be updated anymore... at least not officially... anyway (I've supposed that you're talking about winmugen)
I suggest you to download the engine again, from this source:
http://unofficial-winmugen.jpn.org/
It works just fine for me.
If you already have that one I also recommend to download it and unzip it anyway, maybe certain files have been messed up in the process so it's better to start over again...
