I was wondering how to get rid of the text on the bottom

If you are using DosMugen open mugen.cfg (mugen\data) and do this change

Debug = 0
instead of
Debug = 1

If you are using WinMugen you probably need to find another exe. However pressing CTRL+D should solve the problem.
