I want my Mugen to eventually resemble that. There's also a coupla roster videos on there that I saw with tons of characters that apparently work that I would like to emulate.
I really don't want to create any new characters I just want a game that wholly resembles something along the lines of Marvel VS. Capcom 2 or at least its first Iteration.

I sucessfully downloaded, imported, and used the characters zato from GG, SDIO from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and Captain Commando from MVC.
I than tried to use characters Iron Man, Jotaro, and Venom.
Venom And Jotaro were apparently not intended to be used with this version of Mugen.
And Iron man needs an update.

Need help here. Is there a really big, easy to use site out there where I can easily download files? Characters, stages, lifebars, announcers and what not?
I also guess I need an updated version of Mugen.
Is there just one big file of characters for download out there?
Like all the KOF, all the GG, streetfighter, and what not that comes with their own select.def notepad files?

Not really dude, it aint a big place where you can directly download everthing since it's against mugen creators policy, so you'll have to surf each and every single creator's website for stuff but, there are some nice directory that can lead you to some other websites:

of course you'll meet a lot of deadlink and foreing languages stuff but you dont have to give up!!!

did you come to the forum without passing by www.mugenation.com cause if you passed there you should have enough links for most of the chars and screen packs you'll need, after that you can really start your quest for RARE screenpacks and chars and stages and mugen creations ;)

I also recommend Random-Select, which hosts some creators stuff, www.mugenation.com (cheap plug!), and Mugen-Infantry, which hosts the Everything vs. Everything Battle screenpack.
