Iam new iin using mugen so it might be a stupid problem, everytime I reinstall mugen then put Mugen windows configurator it screws everything up, how can I add charecters without using this software?

Hi Salah,
It's very easy!!!

esemple for add chars : KEN

- add your chars in Winmugen/chars/ken
- open file select.def, and add in characters list :
ken (pay attention the name that you add must be exactely the same that the folder and the name of chars with .def extension ...for example in the folder KEN you find KEN.DEF
then you add in select.def KEN
if the folder name is not the same for example KEN1 you can add the chars in this mode :
KEN1/ken.def
- closed the select.def and SAVE

I am trying that, thanx, btw.. I got this program or fix iam not really sure, its called EVE Duracelleur, how can I make it work with mugen?

these two file are SCREENPACK, not chars.

The screenpack contains the files system and select modified (not mugen default)
you can try one screenpack "for time".

for install a screenpack you can read a DOCS inside a folder of winmugen.
however ...you
put the files system.def system.sff, select.def, select.sff on data folder
put the mp3 or other sound files in sounf folder

open the file mugen.cfg and search on the lines on top where sobstituite the screenpack by default with an other one.

....../DATA/system.def

remember that you put the files in folder for example DB0411 (duracellurs)

you write

....DATA/DB0411/system.def
