I really need help in figuring out and fixing this crashing problem my mugen has. almost every time when I go thru arcade and sometimes in verses matchs, the back ground music will start to skip or get screechy or sometimes stop all together and usually when this happens it almost always leads up to a mugen crash where the whole game just stops.

Any help on how to fix this is greatly apreciated!

probably you need to have a different plug in, or remove the music file...

It seems to be random as to what music causes the problem so I don't think it's a bad mp3, but what do you mean by a different plug in?

Exactly.. however try to use mpc format (instead of mp3), installing the relative plugins into winmugen. It seems to work better than mp3!

never heard of mpc is there a way to convert mp3 to that?
