I'm also kinda having the same problem.

The game crashes alot with no error message, it just crashes.
Is there some sort of patch released i have beta release version 2002.04.14.

Or is there an updated version of WinM.U.G.E.N?

Any help would be nice :(

It is very diffucult to solve the problem

1) Did you see if the problem happens when you try to load a specific character or stage? In that case try to remove it.

Infact, most of Times, windows mask the mugen error message windows, showing instead a "Windows error. send error to microsoft?" (or something similar, becouse I have Italian version so I don't know what exactly can be written in other languages).

This is a boring thing.

2) If no any type of message, it can be a memory problem. Try to use a screenpack with less characters inserted. Having a lot of Characters available on a screenpack means a great need of memory usage.
