whats the easiest way to rip character sprites from street fighter 3? if i say....wanted to create a yang?
also (while im here) how can i make my super finishes the same as SFIII (that is, with that giant background spark which gets brighter, and a 2 second pause)?

to rip sprites... well i would suggest joram's tutorial to start (he has the stuff already ripped BUT i sugget you rip your own, it's a quite interesting experience...
get the ChunKast and the game's Iso, then load it and follow the tutorial steps B)
(i don't remember where it was but google for Joram Zweifuss)
for the rest, copy from Gill the backGround (Kill on Special)... if you feel like you may use the images i made my self too, (remember to give credit where it's due ;) )

by the way i meant, how do i make the sfIII super finish my DEFAULT super finish background (i.e. i need to modify the fightfx and cns in the mugen/data folder).......
oh and of course! if i do any char u know where the cred will go!

well you can make standard drowings, BUT the programming ought to be called from the char OR from the common1... with some var checks... then by default the char triggers a var everytime there is a special move active and that MIGHT make it so that the programming it's not in the char... ... ...

it's so easy... the again it depends on which tutorial he updated... If it's the old tutorial then the colours will not be perfect... if it's the new tutorial then they WILL be perfect! B)
trust me it's worth it!
for the files i don't know what to tell you... you may want to try and use a DL manager for it may be the website's host missfireing...

Nice, remember that Joram sprites are ALREADY alligned! all you need todo is to find the first one's Coordinates and load all the others with the same coordinates
(of course disable the cropping funcion or it will not work ;) )
then i guess you are preatty much done... ho if you don't have the sparks i guss i have some that i ripped my self ;)
(and don't pay attention to the bulshitters they don't HAVE to be the exact same sparks fo the hits... there are like 50 different sets and the Ongame programming it's not made sprite by sprite... ... so it's RANDOM preatty much... (or at least it goes differently depending of HOW you hit the enemy i f not Random)

ho and don't "forghet" the push back, or things will get messy with some idiots... u know how it is...
(btw the damage values can be perfectly obtained with proportions, from eith ps or dreamcast game... if you need to and want to be more accurate i'll tell you how to pull them off B) )
