NO doing that you change the STATE that will be recalled by the command, change that back.
open up any cns or st file and:
search for "Hitdef"

then look up the damage = ### value, you must change THIS value for EVERY attack, make it different for all Or use categories so that you can find and replace fastly....

Ex:
light- Damage = 10
midium- Damage = 30
Hard- Damage = 50

and then you can modify woth ctrl H and change all the damage of the related class B)

Thanks for the help :D. I tried it and it worked. I was wondering though for specials and supers do I have to change the same values or are they different. Sorry for being a noob, but I'm not that good with coding.

You must change rows MukuroCSN... you open it with block notes of Windows... the parameters that you will have to change are these two...
attack and defense....

Slayer Gatsu,

Thanks for all the help. I changed the damage parameters and now the attacks, specials, and supers are more normal now. And about the whole "noob" thing, I thought "noob" and "newb" had the same meaning :huh:. Well the things you learn. In that case I am a "newb"

Thanks for the tip, but I tried your method and things did not change much unless you were saying I should change those values along with the ones slayer gatsu suggested.

it's the default values, therefore not all the hitdefs that you edited will acquire those values... so; you should, BUT you don't need to ;)

Sorry to be a bother, but I just noticed another problem with the character. Some attacks don't have the correct sound. The sound in some punch and kicks sound too low and are not the same as the ones in doh2. So if anyone can offer suggestions to fix this thanks.

Well... it's because the sounds must be the BASIC sounds! so extract the snd file from INSIDE the DATA folder of the complete game, Then edit YOUR ORIGINAL sound file adding the sounds of this one you copied using the same NUMBERS that you see on the otherone, Match and compare (juxtapose) them B)

Okay, I found two snd files in the original game fight.snd and common.snd. I found a program called "SouNDs Good" and extracted the two snd files to wav. The fight.snd made 67 wav files and the common.snd made 72 wav files. I listened to them both and the sounds were pretty much the same. You said I supposed to match the numbers to the character's. Well, I'm confused because I see no way to look at the numbers to match them up. Am I supposed to see a txt file or did i extract the snd files the wrong way. I'm kind of lost.

well... Load the sound file on MCM (Which it's strangely GOOD O_o to make snd files)
then you will get a chance to Hear the sound and SEE it's numbers, therefore OPEN UP another MCM and load the fught.snd from YOUR screen pack (and yes it should be the fught on the otherone as well... )
then you can compare the Numbers and mix 'em up B)

Thank You again for helping solve my problem. I used some programs I found instead of mcm to make a snd file and now the character's sound works :D. The thing is though, do I have to change the snd file for any other screenpack I use just to use this character or is it possible to put the snd files into the character's own snd file, so that I don't have to. Is this possible? If it isn't I'll just leave it the way it is.

If you change the sound files then you will need to reprogram every single hitdef of the char to use the costum sound... you could IF the sound numbers don't match any internal char-snd-file numbers.
then just put an S in front of the hit.snd =
I suggest you swap the sounds everytime....
