I'm kind of new to this mugen stuff and I downloaded a bunch of characters from this website and it sure took a long time to type all that stuff in the select.def. I was wondering if anyone had like a whole bunch of characters, levels, and stuff that I can get?

a screenpack it's the kind of intro you have to the actual game, the number of players you can have, the colorful nice patterns that make it up, there one contained in the winmugen itself, the Kfm screenpack, just tak ea look at that by installing it to understand better what a screenpack is B)
i don't use them, maybe some one else can name them... look on the complete games section of this forumm and click the links, that may help B)

Steven, are you using the WinMUGEN or the DOSMugen?
If you are using the old DOSMugen, then I would recommend the screenpacks made by Dr4ch1R: http://dr4ch1r.mgbr.net/ I am using his CVSS2 screenpack.
If you are using the WinMUGEN, then I would recommend the screenpacks made by abis0: http://f59.aaa.lived...ntom/index.html I am using his MACB Zero.
The power of MUGEN is its ability to customize every aspect of a fighting game. Enjoy MUGEN!

please if you can edit do so, you save me the time to delete it.
well you can thell surely by the Cfg file...
go on in the cfg file and look up IF you can find a [videoWin]
or search 4 linux, If yo find those walues then it's a winmugen...
More easily... darn, don't you see if mugen goes in the comprompt before staring? does it as for an answer by pressing y or n to switch res?
if so it's a dos AND it starts in dos (command prompt).
