I'm new to this game, downloaded the latest version yesterday, and after I extracted it, when I want to run it, it says: initializing keyboard... then it stops and an error comes out: "This system does not support full screen mode" and so it closes.

Btw I'm running on windows vista, and I appreciate any help on this, and if there is a way to possibly play the game and avoid this error. Thanks in advance. :lol:

I haven't Windows Vista but if the problem is that the system doesn't support full screen mode you can try to disactivate it, go in the Data folder then double-click on mugen.cfg and open it with notepad, and in the "Video Win" section, set Width at 640, Height at 480, Stretch at 1, and set DXmode at Windowed. Excuse me for any english error but I don't speak english very well.

"and set DXmode at Windowed" << I didn't find something called DXmode or windowed, but I changed all the other things you mentioned and it is still giving me the same error. I also tried downloading an older version of mugen and the same error appears.

Probably you have downloaded the DOS version.
I'll send you a PM with the link for the Low-Res Mugen for windows.
If the version that i have send to you works,follow my instructions:
1)Go in the data folder
2)open the "mugen.cfg" with wordpad
3)search the "[Debug]" option and copy and paste this,deleting the other things:

Speedup = 0
StartStage = stages/kfm.def

4)if you want a better resolution,search "[Video Win]" and copy and paste this,deleting the other things:

Width = 800
Height = 600
Depth = 16
Stretch = 1
DoubleRes = 4
DXmode = Windowed
VRetrace = 0
BlitMode = Normal

Edit: I got 1 more character, but are there any character pack downloads << I don't want to download 1 by 1 and I don't know where to download them tbh :(

Sorry, but we don't give links to char pack because they are oftenly made without the authors' permission.
